Copyright and Content Removal
How a rights holder can report allegedly infringing source or generated content on Presence, and what happens next.
What this page covers
Presence lets people add public Instagram profiles as inspiration and generate their own posts from what they read there. Two kinds of content can therefore be disputed: source content imported from a public profile, and generated content a user created with our tools. This page applies to both.
Reproduce mode and reuse rights
Reproduce mode republishes source wording close to verbatim. Before it can be used, the account holder must accept an in-app acknowledgement confirming that they hold or have obtained the rights to reuse that wording, and that they accept responsibility for copyright, trademark, platform-policy, endorsement and attribution obligations. Presence does not grant any reuse rights, does not review source material for ownership, and does not act as the publisher of what a user approves.
How to report content
Email hello@getprsnce.com with the subject line “Content removal request” and include:
- Identification of the work you own or are authorised to act for, with a link or copy where possible.
- Identification of the disputed content on this service: the post, draft, inspiration account or profile, with enough detail for us to locate it.
- Your contact information: full name, the organisation you represent if any, email address and postal address.
- A good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your report is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
Incomplete reports slow things down; if something is missing we will ask for it before we can act.
What happens after you report
We review reports in the order we receive them. While a report is under review we may disable access to the disputed content, pause an inspiration account, or remove a scheduled post from the queue. Disabling content during review is not a finding that infringement occurred. We will tell the affected account holder what was disabled and why, and they may respond with an explanation or evidence of their rights.
Accounts that repeatedly attract well-founded reports may be suspended or terminated.
Content already published elsewhere
Posts a user has already published to Instagram live on that Instagram account. We can remove content from Presence and stop future scheduled posts, but we cannot delete anything from Instagram. Contact Instagram directly for that.
Scope and limits of this process
This is a voluntary, good-faith process operated by a small early-stage team. We do not claim to have a registered DMCA agent, and nothing on this page is a guarantee of compliance with the DMCA, the EU Digital Services Act, or any other legal regime, nor is it legal advice. Nothing here waives any right or defence available to you or to us. If you need a formal legal remedy, seek your own legal advice.
